In my opinion, it should be best to avoid using two characters as playable characters from the same continuity altogether. So far, Marth, Roy and Ike don't share the same continuity. However, Roy and Lyn do, as well as Ike, Sothe, Black Knight and Micaiah share one. It would be fair to give another continuity a chance.
