Hm... I attempted to post before, but it does not seem to be showing.
A guess as to why Pop and Mossy were removed is because their sprites are the same as the Goombas from Paper Mario (almost, with some differences), but I can not guarantee this for sure. Development on Paragoomba was stopped, which is why it only works for being in battle. Other than the Hammer Bros., Nice Guy, and Stg. Starshade, all of the beta enemies are Goombas.
I still have no idea why some of these other things are unused though, like the coins, or the Golden Bullet Bill, but them being unused just wants me to find more unused ones.
Sorry, no more teasers right now, but there will be Golden Bullet Bill sprites when I make my first spritesheet.
