Hm... Well, unfortunately, I hardly know any females who play games. I remember, my possible girlfriend-to-be had played games like Sims before, but I doubt that she liked games like Super Mario 64, etc. Luckily for my friend back where I used to live, he now has a girlfriend who really likes Zelda.
Also, I think that these games designed for girls suck (even if they are not designed for older females). The effort being made for "girls' games" could be put into making games for everyone to enjoy. Besides, if a girl who has never played video games before plays a girl's game and doesn't like it, then why would she want to try a better one?
