Well you guys are going off an upgraded S3K sort of style right? Sonic already had green eyes by that game.
Did you ever even play S3&K?
Sonic had black eyes back then.
Everyone did.

Okay I got mixed up it was super Sonic that had green eyes.

I just think the green eyes look better because they add more contrast. Besides if someone ever felt like changing them to black it probably wouldn't have been that big of a deal.
