Now I've wanted to make a contribution into this for quite some time... however, I don't have THAT much spriting experience, and what especially scares me about this style is the anti-aliasing, not knowing what number of colors are acceptable in palettes are, etc. I think I could practice to get to a decent result, but I have a few questions about what might be acceptable for me to contribute to the thread:
1. If I was to do sketches of animation cycles (and when I say sketches, I mean the beginning of what would become sprites, not just pencil on paper sketches), would that be helpful at all in saving anyone time? I'm an animation major, not a pixel shading major. xD
2. Even if I don't contribute actual animations, could I talk about ideas I had for animations and sprites?
It'll be a lot easier for me to gauge what I can actually do after the semester ends... I've only go 3 more weeks, and I have so much more work to do. xD
