Yeah, but that's all to do with composition, not limitation of chipset. Nostalgia for nostalgia's sake is kinda dumb, IMO.

To be honest, I'm sort of tired of Jun Senoue's rock songs anyway; he uses too much bass guitar. :p

Bah, videogames need MORE juicy slap-bass if you ask me.

And it's not just Jun, all od Sonic Team's soundtrack regulars are great, and get less cred than thay deserve. Everyone focuses on Crush 40 and their successors. =/
