It is totally okay to are a serious poster in spamhaul. I don't really care what gets you off or what you spend your free time doing. But this is double-edged; while I don't care enough to get angry at your belonging to the serious poster in spamhauldom, nor do I care in the slightest about your mimblings about the spamhauldom or jerking it to your serious posts in spamhaul.
Posting letting us all know that BY THE WAY I AM A SERIOUS POSTER IN SPAMHAUL when it is irrelevant will get you disgruntled replies. It's not because we're angry at you being a serious poster in spamhaul, it's because we don't give a fuck about you being a serious poster in spamhaul.
It doesn't matter what group we are talking about, if it's goth, scene, furry, gay, transgendered, otaku, whatever, what people get pissed off about is you bringing up the serious posts in spamhaul for pretty much no reason whatsoever and expecting us to pat you on the back and tell you that we respect your pasttime.
You are a person first and part of a social group second. I don't get why so many people in cliques whine about how people only see them as a member of that clique when that's the only way they present themselves.
If you were involved in conversations around the forum in a greater capacity and actually added to threads rather than using 80% of them as a chance to squeal I AM SERIOUS POSTER IN SPAMHAUL, HEAR ME BE SERIOUS, people probably wouldn't give you such a hard time about being a serious poster in spamhaul.
This is why people gave Barg shit about being trans (before it turned out that Barg probably wasn't trans, anyway), this is why people give Vipershark shit about being an otaku, this is why people gave Boo shit about smoking weed. It wasn't because those things are particularly offensive, it's because we don't need to be reminded of it every time you post.
Love
That Goth.
