MegaMan's eyes dont work on Sonic, I would make them a pixel higher but only 1 pixel wide.
Also, I think the head would look better if you move it one pixel over to the left, so he looks like he's leaning back a bit.
Oh, you could also try to cut down the amount of black lines inside of the sprite, they only make the sprite look cluttered.
Mind if I do an edit?
