I had an idea, how's this: The Event Missions are CDs, and there's two sides to some of them, meaning that for some missions, you play on Side A, and then Side B, Side B being you playing as your opponent from Side A and vice versa.

Also, here's some ideas:
Legendary Clash(A), Player:Mewtwo
Deoxys has gone crazy and is attacking the civillians! It's up to you to stop him and protect the Ness!

Legendary Clash(B), Playereoxys
You feel angry at the world and are lashing out against it. Mewtwo, an old friend of yours, is getting in your way. Attack the civillian, but don't hurt your old pal!

Y'see? Lots goin' on.
Also, here's an idea that's been mullin' around the old noggin.
Betrayal, Player:Mario
Luigi has gotten jealous and turned on Mario! You don't want to hurt him, but he sure wants to hurt you! Meantime, Bowser and Jr. are attacking! Defeat them, but protect Luigi...while he's attacking you!
