I love your Mario sprites, but have you ever considered making something original? An original sprite in your style would be amazing.

This is a character for a game I'm making with some friends. The hammer head is a claw that can grab objects and use them as the head of the hammer, so you can have a twig hammer, a rock hammer, or anything else. He can also use the claw to grab onto pegs hanging on walls to climb them, and he can grab ropes to use them as a zipline.

Coolest weapon ever.

Thanks. I forgot to add that you can also grap enemies with it and swing them around, not to mention that some objects you can grab can work in different ways. For example, you grab some twigs and swing it in a torch, you have a fire hammer. If you have balloons, you can jump higher, swing the balloons into water and you'll have a water balloon hammer, perfect for putting out fires.
