I do admit that I dump most of my projects like pikmin_awesomeness, I always start other things... But the comparison does not go any further.
The title gives everything away and the first post spells the thread's death sentence. Sorry pikmin_awesomeness, but you've got to adapt.

The difference is that you actually accept crits and don't flat out ignore anything that even remotely hints at disliking your stuff.
