Ripping Questions

Well, I decided to stop helping after I explained 2 ways to rip and told the name of two programs to extract directly from the rom and you kept repeating the same question, even after people started to repeat it.

Not long ago (not even 10 pages) someone explained how to use taxahan in details, you ignored it. Somebody mentioned a pokemon-directed program, you didn't even ask the name of the program. You just want to snap your fingers and make the sprites magically appear before you. I'm going to tell you this: there ARE easy ways to extract sprites from some games and systems and get as the way it's stored, but not all games or systems have this. And except for some mobile phone games, most all sprite ripping are really time-consuming, specially when you're learning. You're not going to learn by magic.

Have you tried to google "NarcTool" and/or "Narc Explorer"? (yup, with the " ). Some programs requires you use them with some other tools.

First of all, I did take their advice and used DSlazy to extract the files from the ROM. It was damn near impossible to find a download link for it, though.

And my problem with Taxahan isn't that I don't know how to use it, it's that it won't even open on my computer! It gives me an error and quits. Also, I did ask the name of the Pokémon ripping application, but I was ignored.

What is this program and where can I find it??

I'm not looking for some "magic" solution. I know that there's going to be some work involved. All I'm asking is for a .narc file extractor. How is that asking for a magic application? I know one must exist, because people have done it.

No, I haven't searched for NarcTool and/or Narc Explorer yet, but only because I had to go to work shortly after that was posted. I just now got back, so I'll do that now. I doubt I'll be able to find a working download link, though, because so far I've had absolutely no luck with any application I find. >_>
