I really think this would be a good idea to make a game of all this. Or just hand over the current work of the masked men so I can make a Game Maker game >_> *Jokes*

Runouw is already doing this. The game is currently being made in flash. You probably could make your own engine for this and everything if you wanted to, but it would have to be good enough for people to accept it. It would have to be multiplatform as well if you plan to best Runouw's version since his is made in flash which automatically rules out Game Maker.
