no, unfortunately, he's kind of right in some regards, this really doesn't make the game look like its going to be that much better
there are some neat things, yes, but
a lot of things that are bothering
the motion/physics look horrible; they're too fast, and the awkward pause as she shoots is pretty jarring (although given how she runs and how its basically an awkward OKAY STRAIGHT INTO FULL SPEED kind of deal, I think i'd prefer she didn't shoot while running). the jumping looks wrong. the environments and "levels" look uninteresting and still seem to predominately feature long "pretty" corridors and circular arenas to fight enemies in - oh boy. level design sure has come a long way.
