you're shading just to shade. Every new "artist" ever does this and i don't know why. it literally makes no sense. don't add shades to these just for the sake of having shades on here add shades to add depth, and define forms

It's only sense to try, as no other recourse allows one to get good at something. Again, I just need a demonstration or a little advise on WHERE the issue with the shading is, so that I might improve the look of the sprite.

Judging by the comments thus far, I would assume I'm doing ok with the design of the bot and it's props.

So, can anyone kindly point me in the right direction to fix this humble effort up?
