I love how your complaining about word usage while using i and u in your post instead of I and you...
And addressing the masses as sires in your first post, which is in my opinion a much bigger problem on the internet.
But oh no, if someone uses a word inappropriately but we all know what he means anyway, lets make a topic about it.

see, "sires" is the internet's version of "nigga": a derogatory word doubling as a term of affection. but a sir has to earn his title through the hard time of internet labor. at this point, esp. in spamhaul this is far from condescending. as you said, it's simply a way to address the masses: "hey sires, read this"
although the sharp nature of the word's slightly intact because the person is more likely to read the post
