Custom is made from scratch, edited is when you use another sprite as base. And yup, we don't accept original characters (no matter if it's according to the whatever-universe you're submitting) and custom/edited sheets got to get through the Sprite Discussion board for critique and comments for improvement (think of it of our unofficial quality control) before reaching this session.
