Assist Trophies and Pokemon

Heres an Assist Trophy Stand Sprite.

(Which is better by the way, the left one or the right one?)

...there's the fact that we're using cards instead of trophies. Maybe someone already said what the deal was and I never saw it, but I'm really not sure if we're even using the assist trophy or not because of that.

I vote no, because that would be weird. I think it should be a card that stands on it's end when on the ground, that you pick up and throw when you want. When it hits the floor, a yellow light, like the character select idea, glows, and the Assist Character comes out. The card would then burst into a short rainbow-y flame (like a smash ball) and disappear.
And uh, you make a point. This probably should be in the items forum.
