This is surprisingly inactive... Maybe because it actually requires some brain power instead of diving into spriting?

Ahem first I propose we decide if it actually will be side-scrolling or top down sprites.

How big are they going to be?

Those are some questions that need to be asked.

the problem is that its too ambitious

the task of making a perfect style for everything and then spriting everything is unbelievably difficult

im willing to bet most people just don't think its possible and would rather not waste their time on something that's bound to fail

(note that this is not my opinion exactly, i think its overly ambitious but i'd love to see it make some progress)
