Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon (CD-i)

That does not look like a Peahat. Have the creators of this game even play an actual Zelda game before?

I guessed that it's a Peahat. It doesn't look like anything from the NES games but has similar colors and fights by bouncing when it touches Zelda like a Peahat. The developers are fans of both NES games (I read it in an interview with a developer), but Wand of Gamelon and Faces of Evil are based on the Zelda cartoon (Excuuuuse me, Princess!) from the Super Mario Bros. Super Show. They redesigned Zoras, so I guessed that it's a redesigned Peahat.
