Much as I like the design, I think you should add a body to your Yoshi, he's got legs, arms and a head but no real body. I also think that the intermediate shades looks awkward because of their desaturation which contrasts with the saturated rest. The lineart is too jagged and shading conveys volume poorly. I don't have time for an edit Sad
