As someone who plays Medic a lot, this is the only one I disagree with. You should do your best to heal anyone nearby who isn't buffed (especially if you're the only Medic), though it is extremely important to be very protective of the really good players (e.g. latch onto them when their health is low or when you have an uber). But yeah, if you heal everybody, especially people with damage, you'll get ubercharge faster.
The other thing I noticed is that if you consistently keep everyone alive, you'll likely be signiificantly higher on the scoreboard than everyone else, including the top scorer (provided everyone joined the server at about the same time).
And running away is something I noticed I do a lot, especially when I have a high ubercharge. Also, if you're running away, and you have a full uber, and you're in great danger, use the uber; you'll not only be saving yourself, but someone on your team might run around the corner and you might be able to turn that defensive uber into an offensive one.
