I've have only periodic access to the internet, if my router feels like working (It's like 50/50), so there could be delays where I can say something.
About Ness>
On the back pose, if Ness is moving his shoulders back and forth from the walk cycle (He's twisting his body slightly side to side to walk), I believe the packback could move likewise left and right.
On the side walking animation, those are pretty well done based on observations. The arms still seem to meld with the yellow colors in the shirt on a few frames.
Other then these two, I think they're pretty good. About the Pikachu, I like the look of old generation (except the forward animation), and I very much look forward to seeing them.
