i dont get it (not the sprite)

the sprite is fine but it looks very stretched vertically (i know hes supposed ot be tall/skinny but the proportions are way off (and yes i know you already said that)

his face isn't very readable try somehting like this



and yeah your style is way too retardedly close to 1ups, i know your drawing inspiration form it but this really looks like your straight up mimicking it

I guess your right , I really should get my own distinct style. I've been doing this type for a while now, before I knew 1up. started from snd5 (ew, ikr) and went from there.

Not like nitram's style, and your style isn't all that unique. Can't deny I've been inspired by it and been making sprites similar to it, nor can I deny I love it, but theres many other styles similar to it.
but ya, I guess I'll start working on a style for myself.
back on topic, i'm still planning on continuing, so cnc.
