Oh, is that M:tG game worth getting? Not sure if it's in the sale, just askin'.
It's not on sale because Wizards are money grubbing bastards.
If you don't play IRL then it's a pretty solid way to bring you from beginner to regular, since it has an ok mix of cards from different sets but
Everything is very limited. You can't build your own decks; just customise the set decks that they give you. Those extra decks and extra cards have to be unlocked by beating campaign; but that's not as much of a big deal.
You can go online and play other people too; but I've not tried that yet. If any of you do get it, I'd be happy to play with you.
Edit: Vipershark, the PC version's exactly the same, except it doesn't have all the microtransaction expansions released yet. If you bought anyt for the Xbox version, you'd have to buy them all over again (And the Xbox and PC versions don't link up online). However; the PC version can actively recieve patches and rules edits. Apparently Duels of the Planeswalers doesn't play entirely by the 2010 ruleset yet.
Chad, at least Magic *has* lore. And good mechanics. And a playerbase with an average age older than 13. It's still a Children's Card Game though; no doubt.
