Sure, it's a long manga, but the subject is something new and different. More like a "realistic fiction" manga, and I like it for that.

Then you will love Parasyte. Although it is kinda more Realistic Science Fiction but it is done rather tastefully and not like the cheesy movies on the sci-fy channel
