another one of SHAWN'S FANTASTAGAY SPRITE CHALLENGES
#23
My plans (Which I plan to start tonight) involve adapting one of the stories I want to make into an RPG format:

"Leader" Character: Maria
A human girl lost in a magical world beyond her understanding. She doesn't directly fight the enemy, but instead remains in the back row behind one to three characters. In emergencies she can call on big attacks through varying means (summoning a creature to attack, throwing something that explodes), but her main purpose is to throw healing items to the front row. However, if she is the only character left, she can defend herself with a baseball bat. If an opening is made in the front row she can be attacked, and when her HP reaches zero, the game is over.

"Speed" Character: Sable
The first character to meet Maria, a young man with elf-like ears and a long rat tail. He fights using a tomahawk that he throws rather recklessly, but effectively. His techniques involve using long range, speed, and theft.

"Defense" Character: Leaf
A young boy who is part human, part plant deity. He has leaves for hair and can grow roots from his hands and feet. He is naive, but powerful because of his ability to control the growth and the movement of all manner of plants. While he has some powerful techniques that require charge times, his main purpose is the defense of the other characters, particularly Maria.

"Power" Character: Fortissimo
A flamboyant, six-armed living puppet who is an expert musician and artist, who starts out as a villain when he tries to kidnap Maria. After giving his reasons why, Maria actually forgives him, and he ventures off with them. While slow, his arms move very fast, and he uses a lot of attacks involving attacking with multiple swords at high speeds.

I might do villains and guests if I feel like it, but I feel like these would be hard enough to do.
