make the columns with the small statues stand out, they're blending with the bricks :o

also another thing: make the portrait less like the actual sprite. Right now, it looks like a window with the boss looking through it. You could always shade it/color it differently to make it look painted.

I suck at explaining this, and I can't give an example now, so :I

EDIT: also, make a theme for your character so I can remix it in TSRODIUS
