OH MAN GAMEPLAY VID THIS IS THE BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER
The mechanic appears to be [secondary character combo blitz] -> [secondary character pushes enemy into primary's way] -> [primary character finishes with super attack]
easier put, ["Tekken style super combo"] -> ["SF style ultra combo"]
Honestly after that video I was like HOLY SHIT - I honestly didn't expect the crossover to flow so well!
but yeah, I'm surprised how well Kazuya seems to fare against a Capcom character. I also like that psuedo-strafe tech where Tekken characters have the ability to pass through fireballs.
the game was revealed like, yesterday. The working demo has only 4 characters. The demo is in such early alpha that they don't even have lifebars yet! It even uses the same sounds, graphics, and models/animations from SF4.
I actually really like the extremely serious crossover feel in comparison to the lighthearted, colorful look of MVC3. It's got an air of "SOMEONE'S GOING TO DIE AFTER THIS MATCH"
and given it's a crossover between Tekken and SF, something that's been asked for for years, I'd totally expect it to be
jesus it's like i'm 7 again I want like every single game Capcom is making

Because it SEEMED like having Nina was pivotal for doing the tag-team combo with Kazuya, considering how she held them down and he uppercuts them. I can imagine him having another partner who does a different combination that just ends with them grabbing the enemy for him, but as is it seems like the tag-teams are fixed or that only certain tags would have certain effects. Too early to say though, those are just my concerns. No I don't think tag teams are fixed - Ryu's didn't seem that way, but it'd make sense if characters had certain "special combos" with others - you know, like specialized attacks [i.e. Ryu/Ken team fireball, Zangief/King Double Atomic Buster, etc]

And in a way it would have to be - the combat systems of the two games aren't compatible. Whatever; MvC3 kicks the shit out of this. That's because at this point, it IS
