I bought some shirts Power Ranger theme tee's the other day and I went to Quizno's and like 3 people asked me where I got it. I told em at the local mall, but they don't have Red Rangers one anymore just Green, and some jerk out of no where tells me how he has the whole set and then starts talking to all these girls who want to know where they can get their hands on it.
It's like geek is the new jock, or guy with the car Spanish fly now, and it's pissing me off.
The one thing I like about the whole geek chic trend is that I can theoretically wear videogame and cartoon-related shirts and stuff every day and have it be seen as normal.
Because we all know we'd be getting weird looks wearing a power rangers shirt normally.
Speaking of which, I saw a couple of power ranger shirts that I want and they were really cool.
oh and um BACK TO AN OLD TOPIC
chad was saying something about wearing clothes a couple sizes too big
this is actually normal practice for me since i'm weirdly proportioned (tall but not fat) meaning that clothes that fit me lengthwise are often waaaaaaay too baggy, yet clothes that fit my profile are often too short.
I wear tall tees and stuff to offset this since they always work and I can get a lot of use out of them before they get too small.
