Team Rose is essentially Easy mode. Few enemies; you only have to complete half the stage, meaning the really annoying setpieces (CLIMING STAIRS AT A SHITTY CAMERA ANGLE! SWINING FROM VINES WITH ALMOST NO COLLISION DETECTION! SPIDER WEB GRINDING!) are skipped out. I've beaten that story to completion.

Team Dark are Hard Mode; so not only do you have to do the entire stage, most stage hazards move faster and the enemy placement is more dickish. Haven even gotten past the metropolis stage with them.
