How do you use Salvo the Slime with the triangle?

Well that triangle came that way in the rom. Any character that comes with the triangle is more of a render than a sprite. They usually have infinite poses, so it would be impossible to rip every single one.

Then how is it usable? Is there a way to make it look normal?
