Quote:1) If you had to give your 'Gamer Species' a name, what would it be?
Someone mentioned Chillcore before, and that pretty much describes me.
I play games to have fun, yet I consider myself to be a hardcore gamer. While I don't necessarily get into the more competitive areas of games and go REALLY hardcore like some fps players and stuff, I still like a challenge and dislike shovelware. Also not a fanboy of any system. I enjoy all games as long as they're good.
2) Give me a brief rundown of your taste in Fashion.
For myself? A T-shirt, some baggy jeans, and a hot pair of kicks are all I need.
3) If you had to pick 3 Gaming genres, what would they be?
uhhhhh
Platformer, RTS, and Action/Adventure, I suppose.
(really wanted to include puzzle and RPG)
4) If you had to pick 3 games period, what would they be (this doesn't necessarily have to agree with question 3!)
Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Zelda OOT, and there are too many to choose from for the third. Maybe Starcraft. I dunno.
5) What's your favourite school subject/what course are you doing?
Lunch?
I hate school.
Currently going to school for Computer Science. Want to do programming one day.
also i hate math and anything related to it with passion.
6) In your free time, where do you hang out? With whom?
Depends on my friends' schedules. Generally I hang out online on forums and stuff, but if my irl friends are available, we'll go hang out.
7) What would someone say (gaming or nerd culture-related) that would have you like them?
"I hate shovelware."
"Why don't games include local multiplayer anymore?"
8) What would someone say (gaming or nerd culture-related) that would piss you off?
Stealing this from G-Man: "GRAPHICS ARE THE ONLY THING THAT MAKE A GAME GOOD! 2-D GAMES? ARE YOU NUTS ITS GOTTA HAVE C.O.D.6 GRAPHICS TO BE GOOD!!!!!!!!!"
A friend of mine has this weird mindset where if it's not photorealistic, it's not good. His benchmark for how good something is is how closely it resembles the max settings of Crysis. I showed him minecraft once, and he couldn't stop telling me how bad it sucks because everything is blocks.
9) Any other thoughts?
Castlevania 2 is by far the best of the NES Castlevanias. 1 and 3 sucked. Yes, I just went there.
Also OoT is better than MM.
