R/B/Y owned G/S/C.
Ru/Sa/E didn't really own anything other then D/P/Pl, it was fine, but it didn't really prove anything other then the fact it was meant to show off skill
If you look at it in a way, The story line of Ru/Sa/E wasn't really that great. A lot of the pokemon's names were uncreative despite the fact that they were decent looking. The point of two rival team whatevers was pointless, because you don't need two evil teams fighting against each other for domanince, Cause thats cold war feeling in the end which is pretty sad. And the point of having to get a national pokedex from another game was pretty stupid, because later in Emerald proved that it could have been done with out another game that had the national pokedex. Mostly everthing in Ru/Sa/E was done only to prove what a pokemon game could be gone graphic wise on the GBA, not gameplay wise.
So really, R/B/G/Y beats G/S/C which owned Ru/Sa/E while that owned D/P/Pl.
I rest my case.
That makes no sense at all because truthfully i could have sprited better graphics than those.
RSE=DPP > RBY > GSC
but i will admit, GSC had AMAZING features. In the feature department its:
GSC > DPP > RSE > RBY
