According to an article at Gamasutra, analysts were saying it would launch at around $300. Then, in the comments, a good number of people said basically what Lunkya just said.
Personally, I'd agree with them, too. But people have said that the 3DS might redefine the handheld scene, seeing it's got the power of a Gamecube in it.
Then again, going on Nintendo's general target audience (casuals who aren't usually too interested in shelling out lots of money for games), I still think it'll cost at least the same as the Wii.
But yeah, I'll be getting one, too, if only to play DS games legally. Oh, and Paper Mario.
