I also suggesting using an even styling to the elements in your mockup. I'm also going to add that the cloud doesn't look like cloud. It should look more... dissolved instead of a white shape.

about the cylinder body, that's because Shawn is using a very limited area, and reproducing the body curves and features is impossible without hurting some of the readability.
