No, this will sell more because it's multiplat. Not only is Shantae 2 only on one format; only a fraction of DS owners have a DSi. I actually really want Shantae, but I don't have access to DS Ware.

that's definitely part of it, but the main reason is that Sonic 4 is fucking Sonic and SEGA hyped it as "the great return of Sonic" so people are at least going to check it out.

Shantae is cool and all but its kinda obscure.
