Agreed. Makes sense, even if the game is kinda a mix of 3D and 2D... It can get confusing, but if it's 3D already made to 2D (like Donkey Kong) then it's fine, but if it's already 3D then it's best to just let it be or at least post in a 3D ripping forum elsewhere.
Smash-Aholic: like Random Talking Bush and I stated, it would probably be like a bigillion frames to work with anyway, which is soooo much work, so it's best to leave the 3D to 2D sprite transition to the developers.
Not to say your skills aren't needed, I for one am liking the stuff you got. Use your knowledge at picking at the game to grab some good sprites from it, cuz there's still a bunch that probably hasn't been ripped yet and probably easier to obtain/rip.
