FYI Custom means Full Scratch around here.
That aside, I'd recommend resmoothing all the edited lines on this resize. Right now, it looks like a bad edit of badly resized official sprite. Which it pretty much is. If you put a lot more work into it, you might be able to make it look really good, but you'd probably save time (and face) if you just started it over from a blank canvas.
Small tip that might point you in the right direction should you choose to not take the recommended start over and scratch it route, just removing the excess pixels on a resize isn't going to make a smooth curve, you'll have to add a few either outside or inside of the original line to reduce the blockiness. I'd also recommend you make sure this is done every where on the sprite, what you have currently clashes with itself due to quality issues with the lines.
