No really, this is an amazing game to play with friends. When I played the American build at an expo with a friend we had a go at a Desert stage and a Space stage and they were both /amazing/ to play with friend. You get a dynamic where you throw eachother around the screen and enemies explode, treasures get snagged and bling gushes out of every orifice. Transformations when you have 2 players split controls between both of you - so one drives the dune buggy; and the other pumps that sweet yarn-nitro.

Then they did that iconic Kirby Dance at the end and my heart fucking melted.

And for what it's worth; if you're going to dismiss a game on it looking bright and fun, you are a terrible person (or just a really close minded one).
