Not even a little bit snow there, no, the ice/snow just stops and trees begin to grow.
And at the south near the big city: a desert, surrounded by water. Does this make sense?
I do not want to critisize the game, but this map seriously is strange.
You do realize that until a certain height trees will keep growing, and then it looks as if suddenly they're cut off and the crests are covered in snow. You act like you've never seen actual mountains. Also It looks like thats ocean water. You've never heard of Saudi Arabia and the two countries under it, they're surrounded by water but are desert climates.
Perfectly logical and not strange at all.
