step 1: learn art. get out pencil and paper and draw. Spriting is an extension of traditional art, and in many ways harder.

step 2: open the pixel program of your choice
step 3: zoom in x8, x10, whatever
step 4: choose the pencil tool
step 5: draw each pixel by hand, one at a time. No line tool, no random scribbles.

This Might work, it might work, but just curious did you really not laugh when you saw it because even I did truthfully.
