@ Chris: he made the left sprite by tracing the official art, and made the right sprite as n alternate color scheme.

In other words, I like to pixel for the fun of it. And if you don't like the fact that it's a pixel over (or anyone else, at that), then it's all good. *shrugs* It doesn't necessarily matter too much to me.

You won't improve much if you don't work to fit others' critiques, because you're inherently inclined to like your own work no matter what. Pardon my rant, but there's no reason to make art only you appreciate, unless it's for ""fun"" like you said, and in that case there's no point in showing it off on a public message board.

Tracing's fine and all but I'd say it's indisputable that original pieces are exponentially better in -every- possible aspect of both appeal and self artistic improvement.


Well anyway, it looks pretty nice. I'd just like to see you try some original pieces.
