as a final feedback, seeing this is a display rather than works in progress

you're doing fine. avoid "overdoing" the shading in some aspects, such as the whole "blending linework into shading" issue present in most of what you've posted, and of course, consider doing more than simply sprites. ic an see some potential into doing more elaborated works of pixel art if you actually have the patience to work on, for example, backgrounds and such(considering your sprites are nice first step)
