While I'm sure there's a whole bunch of differences between the genres, I find it funny that I can have a lagless game of Halo with a total of 16 people playing at once and I can play say Soul Calibur IV which can only have 2 people fighting at once with at least half second delays on my input. It isn't always that bad, but SOMETHING is clearly not working right here if an almost certainly more complex system with significantly more people lags less than a simpler system with only 2.
