Virtual Console or Original?

Virtual Console is probably better for the sheer convenience. If you're worried about having a physical copy with that, the next best thing you can do is back it up with homebrew and extract the ROM from its Virtual Console archive file. You can play those straight on your computer too if you extract them which is nice, especially if the game has emulation issues on the Wii.
