Trust me, I saw the connection immediately. I think you're forgetting who you're talking to.


In the animation that you did, however, it's much less clear and it looks like his arms are switching, rather than him actually using them properly. Terry has a clear indication that his arm is going up, not just because the jacket design is different, but because he bends more properly and his shading is complimented well with each side of his body.

The problem here is that the way you lined the back is similar to the way you lined the front. The shading is almost identical and it's hard to tell that he's actually bringing his arm down, and not just suddenly switching his left arm to his right arm.
