The general consensus I can find through reviews is that:
1) SSFIV on the 3DS has poor backgrounds, some "off" controls (subjective since the 3DS really doesn't have layout best for fighting controls), and one review lists the game eating up the 3DS battery faster than other 3DS games.
2) Pilotwings is too short and has poor replay value. It's probably good to rent first or at least wait for a price drop.
3) Steel Diver is also too short and certain gameplay segments are too slow as if Nintendo was trying to artificially expand gameplay time. This one is sounding like a rent or wait for a price drop as well.
I was looking at getting a 3DS soon, but now it may be better to wait for the better games later.
