Thanks all for the positive comments. It's really great to get feedback on stuff again.
Damn, you're right. Thanks for pointing it out - I'll be sure to fix that.
The X pallet thing was just out of curiosity; I'll likely use the SMW colors for the rest of the Koopaling X pallets. And yes, racket animations will be made.
Pretty awesome ideas for idle quirks, there. I can definitely incorporate them.
As far as SMRPG stuff goes, Mallow is of course still in the works, although some of his poses need a little touching up in places. The idea of asking Star if I might animate the Geno he and I made has also crossed my mind...
For front walking, anchoring the sprites' heads horizontally is a style thing. But yes, as was pointed out, it's based off of the PiT animation, so it should be fine.
You can count on it.
Also as a small note: Sorry for a late reply. I've not done much in regards to spriting and forums the past weeks.

PS- Please let Roy's second idle be him flexing. Iggy could, uh, straighten his glasses? I dunno.
I'd love to see more SMRPG, but you've got your hands pretty full at the moment and I'll be happy seeing anything.
