For the record:
I'd love to live in a world where I could leave the house with a big ol' sign saying "I'm queer and I crossdress on a regular basis" without a significant risk of getting my teeth kicked in
or in a world where I wasn't four times more likely to be the victim of violent crime than I would be if I'd been born a man
but sadly, that's not the world we live in, so sometimes, people don't tell you everything about themselves (especially online), because in doing so you're making yourself a target for all kinds of hateful bullshit that really, it's much nicer to be able to avoid.
